Q: Can I be a member?
A: In order to be a member, persons must:
- be a member in good standing of a Reformed Church
- adhere to the three Reformed Confessions (The Belgic Confession, the Canons of Dordt, and the Heidelberg Catechism)
- apply for membership to the Board and obtain, with a signature, their agreement with the Constitution and By-laws
- pay the minimum membership fees as set by the Board
- be at least twenty-one years of age.
A basic membership fee must be paid. This fee is included within tuition.
Families who cannot be members, but who still desire to have their children attend Oxford Reformed Christian School, may petition the Board.
Interested families can fill out and submit a Pre-Enrolment Form to the office in person, by mail or by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: Can parents be involved?
A: Parents are encouraged to involve themselves in the education of their children and, if possible, in additional school-related activities, such as: volunteering for committee work, attending society meetings, becoming in-school volunteers, and/or assisting the staff.
Q: How is the school run?
A: Oxford Reformed Christian School is under the jurisdiction of a member-elected School Board. The Board runs the business operations of the school. The Principal is responsible for day-to-day operations and regular reports to the School Board.
Q: Is there transportation available?
A: Five buses transport the students on a daily basis. The current transportation boundaries are Scotland, Woodstock, and Tillsonburg. Transportation costs are included in tuition.
Q: What are your class sizes?
A: Our class sizes depend on the grade; Kindergarten through grade 8 are all individual classes with an average of 22 students. The secondary classes range from 6 to 24 students.
Q: What is your enrollment?
A: Our current enrollment is slightly over 300 students from Kindergarten through grade 12. We offer a full high school program.
